This is a rich, well-balanced dry Riesling. The first aroma is of a juicy, yellow fruit in a playful symbiosis with the red-slate-minerality of the vineyard. After a while, the fruity aromas change to impressions of ripe apricots and peaches, and the slate minerality turns toward a spicy nut flavour. At the table, this wine is a fantastic companion to meats accompanied by a light, creamy sauce, and to a host of other dishes. $16.95*
